Goalie in the making

Well Dom has officially hit gold. Last nite at his game his coach asked him to bring his goalie equipment to his last 2 games so he could play net the whole time. When I told Dom this he looked at me and said "my blocker and trapper too and my goalie stick" I said yep. Well needless to say I have been asked 3 times since 8am how many weeks till he gets to play in net. I will make sure that I bring my camera those days so I can post some pictures!!

Welcome Home

Well I had a great weekend away and came home to a houseful of happy kids and a husband who was glad to see me. I also came home to the most beautiful bouquet of flowers.

It was nice to relax and get away. Not too much happening, tomorrow nite Matt & I are going to
see the Leafs. Should be a good game, they are playing Ottawa. I will see if I can take some pics. Until then Here is a pic of Matt and Ty. I cant believe how much they look alike.

Gone for the weekend

Well I am off to Windsor for the weekend tomorrow to see my friend Elisha. I am looking forward to it, however I am not feeling well at the moment. That always happens to me. I get sick as soon as I am suppose to go away!! UGH!!

Anyways it has been a great week so far. Matt was on holidays this week. We have successfully managed to accomplish nothing which is wonderful. Matt always feels like he has to do a "big" project instead of just relaxing and having fun. A run down of our week includes Dom asking 5000 times to play road hockey, Ty freaking out because he can't go out and play road hockey, Princess being the ref and handing out penalty minutes when the gloves drop. I think Matt so far has about 6 game mis-conducts. What Dom has learned so far.. how to jersey someone, a slap shot and a one-timer oh and the newest moves is deaking, oh ya and there might be some hooking in there also.

Last nite we went to see RENT. It was my 2nd time seeing it and I enjoyed it much more than the first time I saw it. I actually knew the plot so it was easy to follow. Thanks Alex for the tickets. I'll leave with a few shots of some road hockey fun.

Well I had guess I better blog because the "mob" will be outside soon hunting me down. LOL I am sorry I have been so negligent in blogging. Not a whole lot of anything going on in life. So who watches Oprahs big give?? I watch it every Sunday, cry and feel like I want to save the world. However alot of people have a problem with the show. The only problem that I have is that I wish they would have chosen everyday people to participate. Miss America or whoever she is, a DOT com millionaire, now please these people already have plenty of resources to help out others on a daily basis. Come on Oprah!! Did you really think you needed these people for ratings?? Anyways other than that I have love the show. I will post some easter pics after the weekend but until then I really don't have much of anything to say!

Life in General

Well, it has been a long week. Not near as bad as last week but still long none the less. The stress of life is has finally got to me this week I think. I am always thinking about what I should be doing, where I should be going, what I want to do and then totally get overwhelmed. I am such a nerd when it comes to that. However, I am so happy with life at this moment, its odd that you could feel such emotion in one sentence. I am glad that our bathrooms and mudroom is finally completed. Rob and Tyler did a wonderful job on it and I am so thankful to them. I will post pics shorty. In the business front, the studio is going in down in the basement. I will be having a open house celebration so stayed tuned for that information.

Tomorrow is we are going to see Dirty Dancing. I can not wait. We have been waiting 10 months to see it.

Weekend of memories and NKOTB

Well I had a very busy weekend of memories, laughs, smiles and just a great time. Many of you don't know that I found my best friend from 19 years ago. We were together for 3 years, pretty much always together. Somewhere along the road we took separate routes. I have looked for her for many years with much sadness, pain, hurt and happiness. Alot of wonderful memories were made but there were also alot of hurtful ones in the end. Needless to say, just before christmas I came upon her thru a friend on facebook. I immediately added her, not thinking twice. Well because she doesn't have a computer at home she didn't respond to my request for 3 or 4 days. So I thought that maybe she wasn't wanting to talk. I finally got an email from her 2 days before Christmas. The first thing she said was Hey Nerdbutt!! At that point I knew nothing had changed from those pre-teen years. Needless to say, we have talked almost everyday since then and she came down this weekend. Unfortunately not many of my friends were around for her to meet, so we went shopping, then out to Wildcraft with Jay. OMG what a blast. Nothing has changed, as we sat doing our hair and makeup we listened to New Kids On The Block loud and singing at the top of our lungs. I pulled out my old tour books from their concert and newpaper clippings from the first concert I ever went to on August 2, 1990. My addiction has returned. Many of you might not know, I was OBSESSED, when I say obsessed, I truly mean it. Anyways, call it fate, or whatever you want but after our blast from the past, this morning it was announced that they are coming back!! OMG SOOOOOOO EXXXXCCCITED!! I am there.

I hope everyone had a great long weekend. We had a nice relaxing one. Went to the parade. I had a few photo shoots and a great meal at Dave & Vicki's. We also went to the pumpkin patch, Ty tried to pick up every pumpkin possible. Dom started skating yesterday. He is really excited. If all goes well and he learns to skate next year we will put him in hockey. He is really looking forward to that. The weather here has been so nice until today. Of course the weather would be crappy since I have Nursery school pictures to take this week and I really wanted to do them outside. Here are some pics from out and about and the pumpkin patch. Sorry haven't blogged in awhile. I have a lot of great things going on. Matt won a trip to the Dominican last week thru CHYM FM. I am so excited. I hang around the luckiest people. We go the week of Dec 2-Dec 9.

Charlise is settling into school nicely, she loves her teacher. Its amazing the amount she has already learnt. Sounding out letters and really understanding sounds. This damn blogger takes forever to upload pics. UGH

New Stage in Life

Well today Charlise went to school for the first time. She went for the full day. When we went to pick her up at 3:30 she came running out and gave Dom a huge hug. No I didnt even have my camera on me. I know eh. A moment lost forever. Her teachers name is Ms. Mason. I have heard nothing but great things about her. I know she is so ready for school. Now she doesn't go back until next Monday again but then we start the " school" routine. Here are a few pics from her first day.

Well another long weekend is upon us. Today is our 5 year wedding anniversary and 5 years from the day I found out I was pregnant with Charlise. Its amazing how fast 5 years flies by. Matty sucked it up for me and we went to Red Lobster last nite for dinner. He had one of the 2 dishes without seafood and I had shrimp and lobster. Ummm YUMMMY!!

We are thinking of heading up to the beach on Sunday but other than that, not doing too much this weekend

I saw Matts cousin today, Courtney. She just arrived home on sunday nite from Afganistan. she is finished her tour over there and we are relieved that she and her boyfriend Steve were both able to make it home safely. I know I could never do that job. HATS OFF TO THEM AND THANK YOU!!

Well Charlise has been at day camp all week. I was a little nervous about it because she has never been away everyday with no one she knows. Anyway she is just loving it. She can't wait to go and is having a blast. I myself am having a much easier week with only the 2 boys. Its amazing how easy it seems when you just have 2 vs 3 or 1 vs 2. The arguing and fighting doesn't start until 4 in the afternoon now instead of as soon as they wake up.

All our sports are finished now. We have the rest of the summer off to enjoy. Here are a few pics from soccer on tues and getting her medal.

Well as the weekend approaches us not too much gong on. I have a wedding to shoot tomorrow and a family shoot on Sunday. I just came back from swimming at Kawanis park this morning with the kids. They love it there. It was awesome, hardly anyone there because they were saying we were suppose to be having thunderstorms today. However, it is hot and sunny out.

I am really in this mood to change my house. It gets old being a work in progress house all the time. I really get discouraged some days. I just wish I had the fund s to just go buy what I want and finish decorating it, instead of trying to use what I already have. As but this is life eh.

I can hardly believe that it is the end of July already. Summer is flying by. Only 53 more days until Charlise is officially in school. Its seem so unreal that 4 years has flown by that quickly. We have been keeping busy around here. Every wed we head off to the park to join other nursery school moms and then tues or thurs we head to the market. Matt was on holidays a few weeks ago. We didn't really do much except stuff around the house and day trips. Business is going well. I have had lots of work and just found out I have a hockey league in October now. I am hoping to start to build a studio in the garage this winter. Sorry Matt you get the boot.

Ok so I am back to this blog. My other one will be cancelled soon as soon as my friend Cindy completes my awesome website she is working on. I am very excited and can't wait. Life has been busy which is nice. The kids are great. I am going to see Legends tomorrow nite at the theatre. It will be awesome I bet.

Tomorrow I think I am going to shave Ty's head. I know he hardly has any hair but the hair he has is completely uncontrolable. I will keep you posted.

Well we had a great family day today. This mornigng after going for breakfast we went to Kawanis Park. The kids love it there. Its a big huge wading pool, just great for little ones. After we came home, Matt finished the front railing and I scrapbooked a bit for a competition I am in. it must be completed by Wednesday. Then we headed over to tiff's for a BBQ. The kids love it there on the trampoline and we had a good time ourselves. Tomorrow is a new day. Not too sure what I am gonna do. Matts working as per usual but I am sure the kids and I will find something to amuse us. Anyways take care and here are some pics of today!!

Well another long weekend is here... We are going boating tonite and then tomorrow we are going to my friend Tiff's house for a BBQ. I wanted to go cropping to nite but no stores are hold a crop this weekend. Oh well... I may end up going to my friend Jenn's house to have a glass of wine and scrapbook anyways.

Today is our 4 yr anniversary and also my anniversary for quitting smoking. Yep thats right 4 whole years without a smoke. hard to believe its been that long. Well my sweet husband sent me some beautiful flowers today and remembered that my favorite kind were calla lillies.

Ty has gotten his 2 bottom teeth, so sad yet so happy. My bay is growing up so quickly.

Anyways here is to another year with my husband and hopefully many more great ones still to come.

Anniversary Weekend

Well this weekend we went away to Salvatore Garden Hotel http://gardenplacehotel.net, they have a wonderful Sunday nite special for 129.00 you get a jacuzzi suite and dinner at their Italian Restauant. The room was huge, absolutely amazing.... you could even control the temperature of your shower. WHOOHOOO 109 degress for me. Dinner included salad, main course, dessert and coffee/tea. I had Steak a la Russell aka steak with mushrooms. It was TO DYE FOR!!!! Matt had Chicken Cordon Blue and it was awesome also. Needless to say we only had dessert because it was included. After dinner we went to the Niagara Falls. Its nice to go there once in awhile. At 10 o'clock they had a fireworks display which we happen to catch by a stroke of luck. Then we went to the casino, lost 20 bucks in about an half an hour but still had a great time.

this morning we went to the outlet malls. I got a few awesome deals for the kids and then we came home. It was just nice to be able to eat a nice meal with my husband and talk without crying, yelling or anything else kids do!!

I will try and post some pics when this thing allows us too!!

Here are some pics from CHA. Moni & I had a great time. Lots of laughs and snorts!!! To make a long story short I was sick for day 1 & 2 and a bit of a downer I am sure. Thats ok at least Moni had the computer to occupy her......... It is very large and quite overwhelming for us CHA virgins.. No one told us to bring business cards. DOH Lucky things she had 10 or so. We could have used may 100. But needless to say we survived. We met Ali Edwards & Elsie Flannigan. Ali is much taller in real life.

Moni bought lots of paper and other stuff and I have lots of inspiration to start designing now.

Oh my goodness. What a weekend. I don't evn know where to start. I haven't downloaded any pics of CHA yet but I will I promise and a complete story also. The short story being that CHA was awesome. I was sick almost the whole time and neither one of our flights went smoothly. I met Elsie, Ali and Danelle. Oh ya and saw Tim Holtz also. I am sure there were a few more famous designers around but I missed them. New paper lines are amazing. Oh to be a graphic designer and best of all I got lots of inspiration. I cant wait to clean up my scrapbook room and start doing some work.

Gotta run for a b-day dinner but I will be back later and will try to post some pics.

Busy Weekend!!

Sorry I haven't posted since Friday. My husband came home from his fishing trip and then yesterday I was shooting a wedding all day. Dress-up darling was a no go. By the time we got to the studio and my boss showed up to shoot it, Charlise had come down with a fever and wasn't feeling well at all. I got some pics but you can see in her eyes that she just was not well. We stopped because she wasnt co-operating at all. She ended up falling asleep on the sofa in the studio waiting for her ride to come get her. I get so frustrated with my photography because I watch Judi (my boss) and she is simply amazing. I feel like I will never get the concept down. Now mind you I know that she has been doing it for 10 years but still it frustrates me.

Today we went to Kawanis park again. The kids had so much fun. Charlise actually went pretty deep too. This was the first time in a while that I didn't see my husband all stressed out and just actually enjoying himself immensely.

Well we leave for CHA in 4 days WHOOO HOOOOO. My friend Moni and I are going. She owns the store posted in my links. It will be a blast!! Elsie Flannigan (did you notice she made a comment on my blog of I wanna be like Elsie??) Yes I know I am foolish but OMG I was sooooo excited. Am Awesome, well known inspiration creator posted on me, little old ...... ok young me. Not much happens in my world. LOL Anyways now that I got totally side tracked ..... Elsie is going to be there. I soooo hope I get to meet her. Hopefully I can get her new book and maybe she will sign it for me. I have emailed her to see what booth she will be at. I am going to bring my laptop so hopefully I can post while we are there because our hotel has high speed in the rooms.

Ok, so I am starting to think I need super nanny here. I am so tired of my kids and their darm temper tantrums!! I am about fed up. Someone please tell me it was worth it?? Cuz right now I am not seeing the rewards. 3 kids in 4 yrs, I understand now why some get addicted to pain killers. We were at the mall today because it was poring rain out and had to get a b-day present for a party tonite. Well no sooner did we get in the doors, princess decided to have a meltdown. Finally it was the breaking point. A major one right in the middle of the mall. It was all I could do to get out of there. Needless to say I somehow managed to get a g/cert (not something I like to do for a 1 yr old). But you know what pissed me off more than the temper tantrum? it was all thouse people who turned around and stared or gave me a dirty lookor made comments as they walked past. Obviously I should remind those people that they probably at one point had kids and that I am sure that their's did that also. Princess managed to scream all the way out of the mall and the car ride home. Then their is bedtime. Please if anyone can tell me how to make it easier let me know. Every night seems to be a huge struggle. They go to bed btwn 7:30 & 8 and most night don't fall asleep till 9:30 with repeated outings out of the bedroom. I am just so tired of the whole parenting thing. I really am not too sure why I would even ever want more. I feel like a bad parent because I am constantly yelling at them. Do this or that, clean up, don't fight. UGHHHHHHHHHHHH!! I think mothers should be required to go away for 1 week without anyone for rest and recouperation for the next 51 weeks ahead!!

Well enough of the bitching I guess. The good news is that our cat had kittens. 5 of them. They are so cute. I will post pictures as soon as I download them.

Yay Its Monday!!. For all your who work out there sorry bout your luck. I actually have to wrok today also so no worries. Anyways this mornig we had a HUGE thunderstorm. I am quite surprised that none of the kids woke up. I don't know what it is but since Matt has been gone the kids have been sleeping horribly. I have only had a solid 3 hrs at one time. Its not very fair considering when I go away they always sleep thru. Murphy's Law I suppose.

Anyways here are a few pics that I took yesterday of the kids. We went to Waterloo Park and fed the ducks. They enjoyed that. Plus the best thing about that park is it is cheap. 4 of us had ice cream and it cost me 5.00. It was great!!

Soul Searching

So this week has been a week of soul searching for me. I am sure everyone has gone thru that period of just plain unhappiness and hate your life etc... But I am through it now. A better person for it also. I just stayed true to myself and did what I thought was right for me at this time. You can only live life for yourself and I already have enough regrets from my earlier years that I don't want anymore now.

So I am a single mom for the week, should be interesting with 3 - 3 and under but I am sure we will manage. Matt took his well deserved fishing trip this week. He is gone for 7 days. They went up to Totem Point Lodge on the French River. They said that the cabin is "rustic" LOL. I can only imagine what that means. Anyway I hope he comes home refreshed and feeling great!! Oh ya and showered!!

Here are some pics of the kids I took yesterday, I bought them this mini pool sprinkler fun thing and I told Charlise that she could play with it today. However, she had different ideas. When I went inside for a minute and then returned to the backyard, she was naked, and running around in the pool. Most of the pics I cant post because both the kids had no clothes on. Today I had a little time on my hands (well not really but I took it) so I decided to do a search on the blogger of scrapbooking. What I came up with was amazing. I have found a few blog sites that are just amazing. I have no clue how these people do such creative, inspiring layouts or have organized their blog to look like that. I must find out. I find it hard enough just to post everyday, but again if I just took the time I am sure I could come up with something amazing. Hats off too all you women who create such amazing work. If you have never had the time to search and read other peoples blogs, you should definately take the time.

Busy Day

Well good day everyone, On my way to a busy day. heading out to the park this mornig for a bit then have to come back and go thru all my old scrapbooking supplies. One of the LSS is having a garage sale and we can sell off our old items we are not using. They need to be in by this afternoon so I am going to try and get them down there. Matt is leaving for his fishing on Saturday :( but he needs a well deserved holiday even if it leaves me a single mom for a week with 3 kids. Oh well I hope he has fun. Anyways, have alot going on right now, some of which I can post, some of which I can't but my Timmy's coffee just walked thru the door so I willbe back later

Happy Canada Day!!

What a wonderful day to all you Canadians out there!! We had a great day today. We went down to Riverside Park in Cambridge and watched the parade. I would post some pics however my card did something funky and I just lost everything. That just sucks but I am glad it wasn't a wedding. The kids had a blast. They were exhausted. It was strange having a quiet house by 8:00 for a change.

Last night we went on a date nite thanks to Dave who gave us Jays tickets. The Jays kicked ass. Out seats were awesome. The were the gold VIP behind home plate. I was waiting for a ball to smack me in the face. Lucky for me only one came our way and the guy behind us caught it. Apparently so I am told, the Jays have a good chance of making the playoffs this year. It seemed like the team was pretty solid. We won again today for those who need the update, thats 5 in a row!! Go JAYS.

Goodbye Domi, I'll miss you. yes I know all you Leaf fans he hasn't done to much lately but the man has a big heart and great team spirit. I will be sad to see him go. I will be surprised if he doesn't retire. I mean there is no other team you would really want to play for now is there???? Anyways, even though I don't know him personally I wish him the best of luck and thanks for his many years.

Well tonite we are going to the Blue Jay game. It should be fun. I am actually looking forward to it. Then comes the dreaded long weekends. I know u must think I am crazy for not liking them but it just means that Matt has to work an extra day. Even though its only half a day it makes the week go that much longer and its also probably because everyone else is doing stuff on the long weekends and we don't do much of anything. Well this week has gone awful slow. I have accomplished pretty much nothing. I have managed to spend some time with some friends so thats all that matters anyways. I am getting a bit more inspired to start scrapbooking. The weather is helping to. It hasn't been the greatest week weather wise so it has made me want to do more indoor things. Tomorrow we are going to go to the Blue Jay game. I hate baseball but it will be a night away from the kids with just Matt and I so I am looking forward to it. Plus I guess baseball isn't so bad in person but to watch it...... If I really need to fall asleep I will watch it. Anyways, I am going to start to post some more pics and stuff so stay tuned.

What is it with Tuesdays and being Blah!! I have been in such a mood these days. Nothing too exciting going on but very busy, not too sure how that works LOL. I guess I've just been down a bit lately, I had so much passion for life but its just dwindling away. I feel like I have been a failure at everything I have done . I have 3 beautiful children but sometimes I dont want to be a stay at home mom anymore, I feel like that I am doing nothing with my life besides being a housekeeper, then I love photography. Got this awesome assistant photographers job but have only assisted with one wedding and have gotten no further ahead in my own business or learning the profession. The same goes with scrapbooking. I just feel like my work is just blah and boring. It doesnt have that creative edge anymore like the ones in the magazines. I just feel like anything I do doesn't matter or count in life. I know its just a mood but someday I just can't help feeling that way. I know I have a great life, family, friends etc.. but I am sure you all know how it is sometimes. Anyhow off too do whatever it is a stay at home mom does. Talk soon

Tubbing Tonite

Sorry I haven't posted in a while, life has been busy. I know thats not really a great excuse but hey, I'm using it anyways!!!! Tonite we are going to Conestoga Lake waterskiiing and tubbing. I have never done either since I have been preg for most of my adult life. Any how I am going to try, I have to put on that dreaded "B" word.... Bathing suit. Tiff & I were told we have to. I am going to guess that I am not going to get up at all.. Oh well hopefully I don't break any bones.

This morning we drove my mom to the airport, talk about stress. We got to the airport at 8:05 and her flight left at 8:25. We were stuck in a traffic Jam for over an hour. What a close call. Matt was starting to get really stressed. The 2 weeks she was done flew by. I am not too sure where they went. Hopefully next time she doesnt have to wait as long to see the kids again.

Ok so I am outta here, gotta tidy and pack up for the Lake. I will post some pics afterwards.

The BIG Event

Ok so sorry I have not posted in a bit. Life has been busy with the wedding this weekend. I am happy to say that it went off without a hitch. Well with exception of Cindy trying to burn down her mom's house with an electric kettle.

Well its Thursday already!! Nothing too exciting happening. I might venture out to the market today but don't really need anything so I will prob end up going next Thursday.

Only 2 more days till the wedding. It will be so much fun, we r all going to look so good in our dresses. I can't wait to see Charlise all dressed up in her flower girl dress and pigtails. She is so excited too.

Now how about those Oilers :( Poor guys, I am not too sure what happened last nite with penalty after penalty. The goalie played well I thought but he just didnt have a team to support him. Step it up boys, you are not going to win playing like that. Oh well thats why it is best out of 7.

Who stole my baby?

Ok Who stole my baby and replaced him with a unbearable cranky one. Tyson has been a bear for over a week now. Its enough to pull my hair out. He has been fussy, gassy and not sleeping thru the nite at all. I want my old baby back please!!!!!!!

So tonite my mom flies in from B.C. I am looking forward to it. She has not been here since Dominic was born, so over 2 yrs ago I guess. She is down for 2 weeks. I am sure she will have a great time with the kids.

The poor Oilers :( I thought that we were going to have a great Stanley Cup playoff series after last nights game but if Roly isn't coming back we don't stand much of a chance unless we have a miracle. I have faith that they can do it but its gonna be a battle till the end.

Last Nite

Well last nite we had Cindy's stagette. We went to the Rev. I had a great time and I wasn't even drinking all that much!! I felt a bit out of place however. I hadn't been to a bar in so long. I even saw someone who I hadn't seen in years. Cindy of course was totally drunk. I am surprised she was still standing by the end of the night. One more week till the wedding.

Today we are going to finsh off the railing, I will post b4 and after pics a bit later. I am also going to finish the flower gardens. I have so much to do still and Matt is back to work on Tuesday!!

I can hardly believe it is June 1st. My time flies. Anyways today was a great day!! I actually won something due to my artistic talent. I won a whole line of Cherry Arte paper from a contest that I had entered for scrapbooking. Thank you to everyone who voted for me. My friends are my biggest inspiration and biggest fans. I have great friends!! I am lucky to have met such wonderful people. Thank you

Well I did a bunch of planting today. Charlise and Domer helped of course. I actually need to take some pics of the garden. Matt is working on the railing and it is coming along. He hung closet doors today and they look AWESOME!! He tries so hard to make me happy and does a great job at it.

Anyways tomorrow is off to work. I have this great new idea called "Dress Up Darlings" hopefully I will be able topost some pics for you all to see.

Too Busy

Ever feel like there are weeks where you are so busy that you just don't understand why. Well with Matt being on holidays this week, one would think that I might actually not be too bad. We have alot going on but AHAHAHAHHHHH. Anyways this afternoon we are going to a friends nursery to get some shrubs. We are re-doing our flowerbeds out front. I will post a before and after picture. Oh plus we are putting up a new railing. It will look so good once it is done. A week and a half till Cindy gets married. I am staying out of harms way until the day of the wedding. We all know how brides get stressed a few weeks before. Just kidding. We were working on the flower girl dresses last night, they are going to look so cute. I can't wait to see them and they will match Cindy's so nicely. The wedding will be so much fun. I feel honoured that they have asked me to take pics at the grooms house before hand. Watch out boys!! Anyways, hopefully if it doesnt rain too much today I will be able to get some planting done.

Bedtime

I HATE bedtime. Bedtime is suppose to be this nice quiet way to calm down the day and get the kids to bed. But NO not at my house. Ok so its 8:52 right now. Our kids were in bed at 7:30. 2 have finally gone to sleep. Atypical bedtime for me without a husband at home is crazy. Ok Tyson is asleep, quick kids to the tub. Scrub scrub splash splash and 20 mins later out we go. Quick dry off, then for some bedtime milk. Ok let jump into the bed and read a story. Same one as the last 100 bedtimes... Oh Shit Tyson is waking up. Ok read thru it quickly. Ok all done.... To the bathroom to brush our teeth. No you can have a try after I brush them. Ok lets get into bed (baby screaming downstairs by now). Ok tuck each one in.. Here's your blanket.. Bedtime prayers., say night night to the fishies and lights out. This would be followed by a nice cold beer and a spot on the couch.

Well my boss is back from London England now so its back to work for me!! I hope one time her husband can't got o one of those shoots so I can!!! HEHEHEHE. Anyways we are putting a railing on out porch this weekend. I think I will look really good. I will post some before and after pictures for you.

I was invited to go to Chicago in July. I can't wait. Its CHA, for all you fellow scrapbookers out there you will know what I am taking about. It should be alot of fun and alot of new ideas.

Well as always as soon as the May long weekend is over, the sun starts shining. I haven't seen this much sun in a week. The weather should be gettting and staying nice now.

We had some friends over yesterday for a BBQ, an indoor BBQ so we had 6 kids running around our house. It was crazy. Our toy room is literally destroyed. LOL but they all had fun. We had some fireworks for the kids, Lisey was chicken and wouldnt come out to see them, she was too scared but the rest of us all enjoyed them. Ah and yes the show stopper, the big kahoona that Matt couldn't stop talking about. It was nice BUT THEN it fell over........ OMG talk about funny, the thing was shooting balls all over the place. Almost burnt down our new playset.

Long Weekend

Well.. It was nice and sunny out when I woke up this morning, its slowly starting to cloud over now :( They say the weekend shouldn't be to horrible. Tomorrow we are putting up the kids playset or starting it anyways LOL I am sure it won't get completed.

I am actually going on a date tomorrow nite. Matt and I have decided to try and have a date nite every other week. Wether it just be going to the driving range or actually having dinner but we are going to make an honest effort to do it!! I am really looking forward to it. Its amazing how when you have kids they consume so much of your life that you actually forget what made you fall in love with each other anyways.

Ok, I know we need rain but come on, we need sun also. I should have known that we would get rain this week since it is the long weekend. I only remember one nice May 2-4 weekend since prob 10 yrs ago. Oh well that will mean that Tues will be nice. I am not doing anything this weekend anyways so whats the big deal I guess.

The kids get their new swing set today. We got an awesome deal on it. Matt will be busy putting that up this week.

Well more rain still. I want to see the sun again. I shot my first wedding this weekend. Talk about hard work. My camera settings got all screwed up and most my pictures turned out dark.... however I did manage to salvage some of them. I can't believe how much there is to know about all this stuff. I am an exercise Queen

Well I did good. I went running last nite and actually got my butt out of bed and went to areobics this morning. I feel GREAT! Notice how you always feels so good after working out? So why does it take so much motivation to go and exercise again? Anyways, tonite is the big night for Cindy. Hopefully all goes well and she is surprised!! So much to do, So little time

Ever have those days where you have so much to do but don't want to do any of it. Thats me today. All I want is a Timmy's. I really actually have nothing going on today which is very surprising. So its just gonna be one of those days. At least it is warm out. I want to re-do my whole scrapbook room and customize it. I am gonna do a bit of research on all the things I want to put in it. I am sure that it won't get done for a long time though. Its on the list of 100 other things that need to be done first.

I am gonna get my friend Jenn to make a nice bead braclet for me. PINK of course because I love pink!! Hey I might even venture out to Stamp N Stuff today use my 40 % off coupon and then use my other one tonite for Cindy at Michaels. We are heading out there to see if we can find some cool trees for the head table. WHOOO HOOO. Only 1 month and a day till the big event!! I can't wait. It will be sooooo much fun.

Just another Manic Sunday

You know those days that you have so much energy and are sure you are going to get alot done. Ya well nope, nothing, notta, zip, zilch. What a wasted day. Oh wait did a bit of laundry.

Gosh I am craving a McFlurry right now. I know I shouldn't be wanting one BUT I DO!!!!!!!! I am actually gonna try and go to the exercise class tomorrow morning at 6. Yes 6am not pm. Its a killer but the only way to get into shape I suppose.

Anyways, tomorrow I am working YEAH and gonna work on the surprise shower for Cindy. Since she doesn't know I have a blog yet I can type that. hehehehehe.

NSBD

Well today is National Scrapbook Day and I actually get to scrapbook for a bit. WHHOOO HOOO Its not too often I actually get to do that. Anyways had my 1st full day as a photographers assistant yesterday. It was fun. Didn't take any pics but did stuff around the office. I also am hired to do a shoot with someone on May 23 for a fashion mag. I am SOOOOO excited!!! My 1st wedding to help out with is next weekend so we will see how that goes. Anyways gotta run but will post a few layouts (if I complete any today) when I am done.

I got awhole lot accomplished NOT!! in 3 1/2 hrs I was able to do 1 1/2 layouts. DOH. Anyways I had fun and didn't have the kids all afternoon.

Charlise was nice enough to bring a dead bird in the house this afternoon. Talk about freak me out. Needless to say after lots of tears (on her part), and talking to the bird is in out garage in a shoe box waiting for burial at Mama & Papa's tomorrow afternoon so it can be with Jesus in birdy heaven.
